Superb photo prints and documents in seconds
Both documents and photos benefit from Canon’s FINE Cartridge technology, which uses one black pigment ink cartridge for superior text printing, and one dye-based colour ink cartridge to deliver glossy, photolab quality prints and outstanding colour graphics.

Fast, laser quality prints
Simultaneous speed and image quality are the hallmarks of the FINE system. Default document printing speeds of 7.5 images per minute (mono) and 4.5 images per minute (colour), help you increase productivity.*

Easy scanning and copying with 30-sheet ADF
Quality scans are produced with 1200x2400dpi optical resolution. A 30-sheet Auto Document Feeder (ADF) makes batch document scans and copies easy. Collated copying, 2-on-1 and 4-on-1 copying for multi-page documents saves paper and time.

The Auto Scan Mode analyses documents, scans and saves with the best settings removing the lengthy manual selection process.

Fast faxing
33.6kbps Super G3 faxing is fast and reliable. Use as a standalone fax or send faxes directly from PC without printing the document first. The ADF allows multiple pages to be faxed with ease. Make use of 20 coded speed dials, sequential broadcasting and 50 page fax memory.

Scan to USB
A USB port on the front allows you to scan directly to USB stick to quickly share scanned files.

Photo printing with FINE
A lab-quality 10x15cm borderless photo can be printed in just 45 seconds. Thanks to tiny 2pl ink droplets and print resolution of up to 4800x1200dpi photos are vibrant and free from visible grain.

ChromaLife100+
The ChromaLife100+ system** provides beautiful photos lasting over 300 years via a combination of Canon’s FINE print head technology, certain Canon genuine photo papers and dye-based inks.

PictBridge and optional Bluetooth
The PictBridge port enables photo printing direct from any compatible digital camera. With the optional BU-30 Bluetooth Adapter, print images wirelessly from any Bluetooth device.

Software included
Canon’s MP Navigator EX software manages scanned files: convert documents to searchable PDFs, protect with passwords and use over 15 language OCR. Canon’s Easy-PhotoPrint EX software, allows users to print great photos with functions like auto red-eye correction and Auto Photo Fix.
